Specimen Type: Bone Marrow

Patient Preparation: None

Container/Tube 

Preferred:  Dark Green-top (NaHep) Vacutainer®.
Acceptable: 
Collection Volume: minimum 2.0 mL

Special Instructions: Send a completed "Hematologics, Inc Requisition" with specimen. Send to lab promptly.

If other Hematologics testing is needed, See "HematoLogics Specimen Requirements" form for specimen type/volume needed and order test as Miscellaneous Lab Test.
