Specimen Volume: 1 mL serum
Collection Instructions:
1. Allow complete clotting of red blood cells (up to 1 hour).
2. Within 30 minutes after clotting is complete, centrifuge and aliquot serum into a plastic vial.
3. Freeze immediately.
4. Send frozen.
Note: Critical frozen. Separate specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered.
ATTENTION: Whole blood collection volume to be sent to lab in a Red-top or Gold SST gel tube is 2.0 mL (minimum 0.6 mL)
