Preferred:  Clean, plastic urine collection container with no metal cap(s) or glued insert(s) and no preservative supplied by St Louis Children's Hospital.
Acceptable: Any clean, plastic collection container.
Collection Volume: 10.0 mL (minimum 5.0 mL)

Special Instructions: 

1. Protect specimen from light and send to lab promptly.

2. Send competed "Children's Hospital Los Angeles Biochemical Genetics & Special Chemistry Test Requisition" with specimen.

Lab Processing Instructions: Mix urine well and pour into a 60-mL amber urine transport vial to protect from light. Place specimen in dry ice to freeze immediately.
