If specimen source is Pleural Fluid, specimen is analyzed in-house in SLCH Core lab Chemistry, See "Glucose, Pleural Fluid".

All other specimen types will be sent to Barnes-Jewish Hospital Laboratory at IOH for testing. See "Glucose, Body Fluid" in BJS ETC for collection instructions and test information.
